Former Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on the people of Ghana and supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to vote massively for their Member of Parliament.
However, he has called on them to vote for him as he intends to contest the 2024 elections as an independent candidate.
Alan Kyeremanten made this known when he spoke at an event to announce his resignation from the NPP.

He further indicated that his decision to leave the political party is geared towards not making the NPP go into opposition after the 2024 elections.
“I wish to use this opportunity to assure the rank and file of the New Patriotic Party that I still cherish my relationship with you, and I am committed to the ideals of the founding fathers of the Party. My decision to contest as an Independent Candidate will not destroy the Party, but rather provide the Party an opportunity to participate in a Government of National Unity in the future, and avoid the risk of going into opposition with no dividends, in what arguably will be a difficult general election in 2024.”
Alan Kyeremanten, a former member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has urged Ghanaians and NPP supporters to vote in large numbers for their Member of Parliament. However, he also announced his intention to run as an independent candidate in the 2024 elections.
